Mae's House Cleaning Process
A Housekeeper syncs with the rhythm your household.
The two cleaning processes Mae likes to use is:
Lay of the Land and her Tri-cycle method of cleaning.
These skills have been developed over the last 20 years.
Mae finds houses get dirty in cycles, like dust, fingerprints and corners.
The Lay of the Land is Mae's intentional and mindful overview of the houses current condition.
The Tri-cycle is a rotation of 3 key areas to focus on, divided by:
The Kitchen, The Bathrooms and The Living room/Bedrooms.
Lay of the Land
Seeing the Big Picture or an Overview
Getting a feel for the lay of the land as it presents itself this day.
Mae grabs a trash bag and empty all the trash receptacles
while observing what shape the house is in.
- Will I have to pick up the bedrooms?
- Is the kitchen in need of extra attention?
- Were the bathrooms used heavily during the week?

Tri-cycle
I organize my cleaning chores on a Tri-cycle. (No, not literally.)
I divide your house up into three areas:
- The Kitchen
- The Bathrooms
- The Living Room/Bedrooms

The Kitchen
There are always extras to do in the kitchen. I am more than happy to clean out your frig, wash down and oil cabinets and dust the top of your cabinets were you might keep decorative plates.

The Bathrooms
Mae pays critical attention to mold in the shower/tub area. The toilets are disinfected inside, out and around.

Living room/Bedrooms
Mae vacuums or sweeps the floors and decorative moldings. She keeps an eye on fingerprints of walls, doorknobs and handles.
